The Recorder Product Family is an affordable and modular line of products that interface the Apogee Labs multiplexer/demultiplexers to a selection of digital recorder and storage devices. This allows the user to record a wide variety of digital, analog and video signals onto affordable, commercially available recording media such as AIT3 tape, DTF tape, CD, DVD, and pluggable IDE hard drives. A key feature of the recorder family is the ability to provide a wide range of capabilities with a user-friendly setup and control interface. Partnered with a multiplexer, the recorder can record the composite data stream simultaneously as the multiplexer transmits the composite stream over a variety of communications links to a demultiplexer.
