The Apogee Labs Data Network Appliance (DNA) Product line provides a flexible, scalable and cost effective Ethernet transport for serial data streams and video (NTSC and PAL). Serial clock and data streams, at rates up to 300 Mbps, can be directly piped in from new or existing legacy equipment and then sent for direct transport across LANs and WANs at data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbps with minimal overhead. This Product Line is built on a Core Technology that supports transport speeds in excess of 500 Mbps thus allowing for future expansion to utilize the capabilities of higher bandwidth network designs.

MODEL AL2910/AL2911

The 2910 and 2911 family of PCM Data Acquisition and PCM Data Decommutator Systems are designed for telemetry ground stations to replace older FM station Multiplexers. These units can acquire multiple analog and discrete inputs, typically signal strengths and status bits from frame and bit synchronizers, IRIG or NASA range timing, and voice and serial PCM from antenna position encoders. These inputs are sampled and formatted into IRIG PCM frames providing a serial output up to 20 Mbps. With the sampling rate programmable up to 80k samples per second, the PCM Data Acquisition System can be used for laboratory data acquisition systems to sample strain gauges, accelerometers and pressure gauges. Seismic and environmental monitoring, power plant operation and testing facilities for automobiles and aircraft engines are typical applications for the 2910 and 2911 Systems.

MODEL AL4501/AL4502

LOW LATENCY VIDEO & DATA OVER FIBER
MULTIPLEXER and DEMULTIPLEXER
The Apogee Labs Models AL4501 Multiplexer Set is designed is to provide high quality trans-mission of up to 8 Video and 8 PCM signals over a Fiber Optic Link with MINIMAL DELAY. At the receive site the AL4502 Demultiplexer reconstructs the original Video and PCM signal. Total Video signal delay through the two units combined is less than 2 microseconds. PCM delay at 10M bps is less than 20 microseconds.

MODEL AL2873

The AL2873 Configurable Interface Unit (CIU) is a modular equipment chassis that provides the platform for a wide variety of Interfacing Functions. Buffering, Signal Level and Connector conversions, protocol conversions, and even Data Link functions, such as Fiber Optic Modems, Clock & Data Recovery as well as Bit Error Rate Testers are examples of the wide range of ëinterfacingí the CIU addresses. It is modular in design which allows field upgrades simply by installing new or different function Modules.

DIGITAL MATRIX SWITCH 256 x 256 NON BLOCKING SWITCH MATRIX

The Apogee Labs model AL2273 Digital Matrix Switch is designed to support programmable signal routing with up to 256 signal inputs to 256 outputs. These may be grouped as 128 x 128 signal pairs. A typical application involves directing the outputs of bit synchronizers (data and clock) to the inputs of decommutation equipment in a telemetry ground station. The system can also be configured to convert signals. As an example, TTL signals can be converted to RS-422 and reverse.

The AL8000-101 PCM encoder module is designed for applications requiring sub-miniature size, low weight, low cost and the ability to withstand harsh environments. It is suitable for high shock applications such as precision guided munitions, projectiles, missiles and other rugged telemetry applications. It is factory configured with CPLD based technology allowing the configuration to be reprogrammed to meet a variety of applications and is compliant with IRIG-106 Standards.
